McCain Chooses Palin

So, what a day in Ohio history eh folks?





John McCain announced today that his running mate will be the 44 year old female governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. The more they talked about her today, the more I wondered why we have never heard of her.

I am sure I will be talking more about her as November approaches.


Let's see how many voter categories she could appeal to:

Republicans

People truly looking for experience ( City Council, Mayor, Governor)

Female - Obviously

Mothers / Working Mothers

Military Families ( She has a 19 year old son deploying to IRAQ on SEPT 11th! )

NRA Members

Alaskans

Union workers ( her and her husband both union members at one time or another)

Teachers ( Her parents were both teachers)

Oil Workers ( Her husband)

Outdoor sports fans



I am sure I am forgetting something, but that is one wide range of demographics!


It will be interesting to see how this election plays out. History will be made one way or the other. Either we will have the first black president, or we will have the first female vice president.
