Maybe the FED Should Go to Credit Counseling

Can you believe all these bail outs that are going on? Where is MY bail out? How are Americans suppose to learn how to manage their finances when our own government can not keep a handle on their money?

I am glad to hear that some of the companies involved are being investigated by the FBI. It is ridiculous that these CEOs get multimillion dollars severance packages even when their companies are headed for disaster. Who in the real world gets a bonus for doing a BAD job? We would get fired, not a bonus.....that kills me.

My husband and I could use a bail out. We are trying to get him through college, and have the student loans to prove it! We are also trying to sell our house, could we have picked a better time in resent history to try and sell a house? We were hoping that we would at least make a little bit of money on the sale of our house and put that on to the student loans.

I don’t know what is going to happen if the economy gets worse, I did not think it was possible for that to happen, but it looks like it might. We might have to look into credit counseling. It has always been important to us to keep my husband’s credit in top notch shape, especially since mine was not the best when we got married. I once considered debt consolidation before I got married but I never ended up doing it.

I know there is a site called www.careonecredit.com that sounds interesting. It says they offer 24/7 access to your account, electronic payments, and they personalize their support and counseling services to fit your situation. I know I like it when I can do things online when I have the time, which is usually in the wee hours of the morning.

I don’t know, I hope the Fed gets all this sorted out and the economy takes an upturn..but it is nice to know there is help out there if I need it!
