Green In The Garden

My family and I can not wait for spring to get here. We have been planning out this season's garden since before the end of the last growing season. Gardening is one of the many thing we like to do with our kids. I know my husband gets to do the lion's share of the heavy duty work, but he doesn't really mind in the long run. He says it it more than worth it when he watches our little ones ooh and awe as the plants grow.

There are so many benefits to doing a garden with your family. We get to spend time together as a family, wee get fresh air, sunshine, exercise. If all these things were not enough motivation, we end up with fresh fruit and vegetables to eat and lovely flowers for our efforts. Gardening with our kids is one way we teach our kids the value of hard work, and a respect for living things including our planet.
