I had never heard of a Philadelphia Plastic Surgery doctor by the name of Dr. Emily Pollard before today, but I came across her website. The site caught my attention, so I looked around. I have always had it in the back of my mind that one day I would like to get a tummy tuck. After having three cesarean sections in four years, I could really use one. I looked at the photo gallery on Dr. Pollard's site and was amazed at the before and after shots of some of the tummy tucks she has done. It made me want to get mine done tomorrow!
When you are deciding on a doctor though, you need to look at more than the photos. I wanted to see what kind of education she has to back up these results. I was amazed at the amount and variety of education she has under her belt, her office wall must be covered with framed diplomas. She has done everything from residency at Georgetown, to Chief of Plastic Surgery at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA. If that were not enough she is Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Drexel University College of Medicine. There are many more examples of her experience on her site as well.
Wow, I am impressed and I will definitely keep her in mind when I get ready to tune up my tummy. It is tempting not to go down her list of procedures and check them of like a menu. I'll take one of those, and those, oh and that one too! No I will be happy with a normal looking belly button again.
