I keep reading all these headlines today, on the net, in the papers. Sarah Palin is stepping down before the end of her term as Governor of Alaska. I have not had time to read a whole article yet, but I often doubt that I get the whole truth from any article anyway.
There are theories that it is because she is being driven out of office because she is doing to much good, and shaking up the old boys club. There is a theory that it is because she is tired of the media being mean to her family, and then there are thoughts that she is just sick of politics all together. I can not imagine living under that type of scrutiny, even the most "perfect" person would crack after awhile. It would be my guess though, that even if she is sick of the media, that they are not going to just forget her if she is no longer Governor. Once the media sinks their teeth into something or someone that gets them ratings they don't let go easily.
I hope she still stays active in the political arena. I voted for McCain with her as his VP nominee, I still do not know if I would vote for her for president, but I would like to learn more about her and find out. I definitely think that America is ready for a female president. America likes to consider itself ahead of most countries, but I think we are behind the curve when it comes to having women "in charge". We just need the right candidate or combination of candidates.
Hey Governor Palin,,,, maybe you can fix California's budget, or maybe come to Ohio and replace our Democrat. Good luck in whatever you choose Mrs. Palin.

I hope Sarah stays in the political arena too.
I would have voted for her for Prez.
I did not like the comment that was made about her if she had run for President that she could not keep her family in proper running order how could she be able to run an entire country...well how about they lay some of that good ol' blame on DADDY for not being so helpful in the upbringing of the children.
At least they aren't on the FBI's most wanted list!
Lots of families have an oops now and then...give her a break for goodness sake!
I think she would make a great leader for us.
Hey! here is and idea..
