Palin/Gosselin 2012

Ok ladies and gentlemen have I got a political ticket for you for 2012....

Sarah Palin for President

and Kate Gosselin for Vice President.

Now, this was not my original idea, it was JEM's idea, but think about it. They are both strong willed women, and mother's of large families. That means they both know how to multi task like a son of a gun and aren't afraid to tell anyone how they want things done.

Sarah Palin has the political experience and real world experience. Kate is already use to having photographers follow her around, and I imagine if there were any other skeletons in Kate's closet we would heard about them already.

As and added bonus, Kate will probably make handwashing a federal law LOL...Purell for everyone! ahahaha

Whether you like either of these women, I bet you agree they would get some stuff done. I wonder if Kate is a republican? hmmmm.

Sheet Music You Can Get For Free

I was just talking about the orchestra for hire website, now I have found a cool website for Free Sheet Music . It is called YokeWong.net, and you can hear clips or get sheet music for many songs right off of the site, FREE of charge. You all know I love free things!

If you are interested in learning to play the piano there is information on piano lessons and Sight Reading, so that you can learn to Read Music . I was looking on the home page and they have these cool YouTube clips of someone playing Greensleeves, like a live tutor right there on your computer. They also have a link to the sheet music for Greensleeves right there too so that you can try your hand at playing it at home.

I really do want to get piano lessons for my kids. I wonder if I showed them clips like these, or if I learned from the clips myself and then taught them, if they would pick it up. I know I am not always the best teacher in the world. My kids already love music and I think music appreciation is a wonderful thing to foster in children. I hope they pick up some instrument in their lifetime, I just hope it is not the drums until I can afford a sound proof room LOL!

Sarah Steps Down

I keep reading all these headlines today, on the net, in the papers. Sarah Palin is stepping down before the end of her term as Governor of Alaska. I have not had time to read a whole article yet, but I often doubt that I get the whole truth from any article anyway.

There are theories that it is because she is being driven out of office because she is doing to much good, and shaking up the old boys club. There is a theory that it is because she is tired of the media being mean to her family, and then there are thoughts that she is just sick of politics all together. I can not imagine living under that type of scrutiny, even the most "perfect" person would crack after awhile. It would be my guess though, that even if she is sick of the media, that they are not going to just forget her if she is no longer Governor. Once the media sinks their teeth into something or someone that gets them ratings they don't let go easily.

I hope she still stays active in the political arena. I voted for McCain with her as his VP nominee, I still do not know if I would vote for her for president, but I would like to learn more about her and find out. I definitely think that America is ready for a female president. America likes to consider itself ahead of most countries, but I think we are behind the curve when it comes to having women "in charge". We just need the right candidate or combination of candidates.

Hey Governor Palin,,,, maybe you can fix California's budget, or maybe come to Ohio and replace our Democrat. Good luck in whatever you choose Mrs. Palin.
