Do you ever dread the idea of taking your vehicle in for repairs? If you are like me you might get nervous about finding the right mechanic for your type of vehicle, or one that is really good at what your specific repair is.
I found this cool site called RepairPal.com. It is great because you can go there and find a mechanic in your area, or even do research on a vehicle or type of repair. Say you are need to know where you can go in Dallas, just type in Dallas auto repair and you will get a list of results in that area. Complete with ratings, and specialties for each repair shop.
You can also look up a specific vehicle like a Chevrolet Silverado and see what others have had to say about it. Maybe the car you were thinking of buying has a history of problems, this could help you make a car selection.
Another great way to use the site, is to education yourself before you take your vehicle in for repair. Say you know you need a brake job. You can look up this type of repair and learn any associated lingo that might come up and what to look for when the mechanic start talking about what might need done. You know what they say,, Education is power. Now you can arm yourself with knowledge before you go to the next garage.

Baby Einstein Recall?
My dad was telling me about a class action lawsuit against Baby Einstein. I have not gotten to research it myself yet, but from what I heard someone sued the current makers of Baby Einstein ( Disney holds the rights to them now I think). They claimed that the video's claim of being educational is false or overstated.
It says they are giving money back to people who bought the videos or DVD's between 2004 and 2009. I hope people don't take advantage of this buy back. I have three beautiful, smart children and they love the baby Einstein series. They do not claim to make your baby as smart as Albert Einstein, but I believe they do stimulate a child's mind in good ways.
I can not tell you how many objects, concepts, words, languages etc that my kids have picked up from these videos. Many times we will just have them on in the background of our day because the music is nice. Music in and of itself can be good for the brain, so what are these people whining about.
I know a child should not watch "too much" television, but is they are going to watch something these types of videos are way better than some of the shows that are out there. Can I get a class actions suit against shows like Spongebob for making me feel like I lose IQ points when it is on?

Get Your Business Cards and Your Christmas Shopping Done
I was looking around the internet for deals on business cards for my dad and I found the coolest site. It is called 123print.com and they have so much more than business cards it is not funny! Not only do they have an awesome selection of custom business cards , but you can also get your holiday photo cards from this site.
I was looking at the nice designs they had for holiday photo cards and then I starting to think, wait why not get gifts for some of the people on my list from this site? Does someone one your list have a business? Maybe you can get them some new business cards or even custom post it notes. Maybe you have a friend like mine who is super organized, I bet she would like some customized post it notes, or maybe a custom calendar.
This site has yard signs, magnets, address labels... I could go nuts here. I could even get some customized stuff for my kids here. You know they love ANYTHING with their name on it. If you have any kids with unusually spelled names then this will come in very handy. I can never find stuff with my daughter's name on it in the store because her name is unique. The ideas are endless... check it out!

Boy Floats Away in a Balloon!
I just read a story about a 6 year old Colorado boy who has inadvertently floated away in a homemade balloon of some sort. I just watched a clip of it here . The article does not explain how it was caught on live video, I bet it was a news helicopter in the area or something.
The awful part is that the balloon came down, but they still can not find the little boy! I hope and pray that he will be found unharmed. The parents must be freaking out. My thoughts and prayers go out to this family.
