I was watching the movie El Dorado (1966) , which stars John Wayne. I saw a character in the movie named McCleod and from that point on all I could think about was,,"Who does he remind me of?!"
It has been a couple of days since I saw that movie, and the thought still keeps popping up. I remembered tonight while I was near my computer, so I started my search. I looked up the movie on IMDB.COM. There was only one picture of that actor on the IMDB listing, so I did a google search for more images.
I noticed there was at least one other person looking for the answer because I found a post on a question and answer forum, that wanted to know what modern actor Christopher George looked like, or who was his son. It pointed out that his son was adopted from his wife's first marriage. I thought no way! I thought for sure that the modern day actor that I was thinking of had to be his grandkid or something..ooh maybe it is their daughter's son? hmmm (Because they did have daughter together)
As I was looking through the images of the actor CHRISTOPHER JOHN GEORGE it finally clicked...it was the guy who replaced Matthew Ashford on Days of Our Lives, as Jack Devereaux... an actor named Mark Valley!! To confirm I did a image search for Mark Valley, and sure enough he is a match for Christopher George...there has to be a DNA link here somewhere....maybe George had a kid or two that he did not know about? lol
Anyway,, what do you think...

My hubby doesn't think I am as right as I think I am...not uncommon....but what do YOU think...Did I get a close match? At least I can let that question go..Who does the guy from El Dorado look like? To me....Mark Valley!
Update...I do still think there is another older actor that I am thinking of,, but don't tell my hubby that I think he is right lol!
